Poetry Workshops

Poems from Dreams with Kimberly Cloutier Green

Grounded in a long history of poems from dreams, we will look at how other poets have made use of dreams as well as explore our own dream “material” (tones, settings, objects, personae, and images) through poem-making. Working this way opens new ways of seeing, understanding, and expressing our experience of living. This workshop is designed to encourage experimentation and play, as well as to deepen curiosity about and pleasure in the mysterious, the inconclusive or uncertain. Those who dream every night and those who dream only rarely are invited to join in! No previous poem-making experience necessary. The first prompt will be sent ahead of the first workshop so that we can dive right in!
